Back Pain Treatments

Back Pain Treatments

Most of us will experience low back pain in our lifetimes. Unfortunately, leaving back pain untreated may lead to chronic pain.

Our treatment starts with an exam to determine what might be causing your back pain. We offer a variety of treatments to get your pain under control and correct the cause to keep it from returning.

We are experienced at diagnosing and working with the following common diagnoses:

-Simple sprain/strain of the back muscles and ligaments

-Disc herniations (protrusions, sequestrations, annular tears, etc...)

-Sciatica (leg pain due to pinched nerve in the back)

-Spinal stenosis (reduction in size of the canal)

-Degenerative disc disease (a form of spinal arthritis)

-Facet syndrome (pain from a "knuckle" of the spine)

-Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (pain in what some people refer to the "hip")

-Spondylosis (general arthritis/degeneration of the spine)

-Spondylolisthesis (slippage of one bone on another)

-Piriformis syndrome (tight muscle causing sciatica)

-Scoliosis (side to side curve of the spine)
